Landscape and Interior Spatial Design 2 is an experimental workshop held by Michele De Lucchi with Francesca Balena Arista and Mario Greco, with the collaboration of Marco De Santi, Giada Boromello and Francesco Antonelli, at the Politecnico di Milano, during the 1st year of the Master’s Degree in Interior and Spatial Design. The aim of the course is to develop anthropological themes that are important in contemporary life.
The students start from the abstract concept of “contamination” to develop spaces that trigger emotions and inspire reflection. The spaces are then illustrated with architectural models and short videos.
Hybridization, contamination, fertilisation and interdisciplinarity are our keywords. Contamination is fertile: it turns everything inanimate and static into something reactive and dynamic.
