Designer: Luc Druez

Via Cino del Duca, 8

LcD Edition Textile celebrates its 30th birthday with an installation designed by French artist Isabelle Leourier. From Paris to Milan: the great gateau of copper jacquard comes to the baroque halls of Palazzo Visconti to present the new collection “Happy Metal”, an artistic concept that took months of work and 280 metres of metallic fabric to turn into a tiered birthday cake 5 metres tall.

The textile collection in limited edition Happy Metal is dedicated to light. Thanks to cutting-edge production techniques all the materials have a unique translucent quality. The company works on private residential interior design projects as well as large-scale hotels, shop windows, boutiques, restaurants, theatres and any other project that requires specialized documentation and technical specifications alongside original, made-to-measure patterns and colours.

Belgian by birth but European by adoption, Luc Druez collaborates with prestigious fashion houses (such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton) with opera theatres and with renowned interior designers like Peter Marino, Andrée Putman, Bruno Moinard and Elliot Barnes.
