Matteo Brioni sfrutta le peculiarità della terra cruda per arricchire e caratterizzare le pareti del Caffè del Circolo.

Clay for Architecture. Our luxury is to respect the environment. For Matteo Brioni clay signifies four generations of experience and know-how, since the family kiln was set up in 1920 in the fields of Gonzaga. But Matteo Brioni made a radical change, abandoning the traditional firing of clay in favour of specific solutions that exploit the peculiarities of a unique material, one of the oldest in the building culture: raw earth. Today MATTEOBRIONI is a benchmark company on the international design scene, and a synonym for raw earth itself. MATTEOBRIONI offers a full range of expertise in this material – from feasibility studies to design and installation – and the company considers every collaboration a useful opportunity to exchange and share skills and knowledge. From 2013, the architect Marialaura Irvine is in charge of the Art Direction; a solid and historical partnership in which ‘materiality’ is their common vision.
