Japan Creative

A Matter of Perception: Linking Minds – Palazzo Litta, Corso Magenta 24, Milano

Japan has a long-cherished tradition of “Monozukuri” – the making of things. Japan Creative believes that the aesthetics nurtured by this tradition is an important asset for the future of Japan. By looking at traditional craft, industry and leading technology from multiple perspectives, Japan Creative creates new values in tune with contemporary lifestyle. Through exhibitions, encouraging production, archiving, publication and promotion, Japanese creativity is made accessible to a wider world, providing a boost to the industries that generate it. Part of Japan Creative’s activities are the collaborative projects between Japanese manufacturers and international designers, on show here in Milan. Such collaborations have previously been presented in major shows around the world: Milan, Tokyo, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm, New York and Seoul.
