CREATIVITY LESSONS.

HOMAGE TO PIER PAOLO PASOLINI.

Palazzo Litta Cultura – 1 -2 November 2017
Palazzo Litta

In collaboration with: esterni

Palazzo Litta Cultura with CREATIVITY LESSONS, from an idea by Stefano Ghittoni, wants to remember Pier Paolo Pasolini, one of the most important and lucid intellectual figures of the postwar period, on the 42nd anniversary of the artist’s death.

In line with the undisciplined strategies of Palazzo Litta Cultura, CREATIVITY LESSONS is developed through the encounter and contamination of artistic and entertainment forms that are different and complementary to each other, calling on artists and operators of entertainment and culture to participate in the project. in various ways they found inspiration for their work in Pasolini’s thought and work, considering it still current and fruitful in the contemporary world.

The project crosses four expressive fields, music, video, cinema and theater: it consists of a sound installation that gives its title to the entire program, permeating the spaces of the Palazzo and bringing inside fragments of dialogues and music based on a film by Pier Paolo Pasolini. It is accompanied by a video installation dedicated to the artist’s first three films and his reflection on cinema. The program also includes the screening of some feature films by the director and two films by contemporary directors and artists who are confronted, from different angles, with Pasolini’s work and his thoughts.

The two days will end with a theatrical intervention inspired by Petrolio, the last and unfinished literary work of Pier Paolo Pasolini.
