Bologna Water Design 2013 – Ex Maternità, Bologna

In collaboration with: Wall&Decò.

Narcisuss was the son of a river god named Cephissus and a nymph named Liriope. He was exceptionally proud, in that he drove away Echo, a mountain nymph who loved him deeply. She was heartbroken, Nemesis saw this and attracted Narcissus to a pool where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus died turning into a flower. Padiglioneitalia designers created for Wall&Decò a wallpaper collection inspired by underwater worlds. Artworks preview will be presented during Bologna Water Design 2013 at one of inedited cloisters of Ex-Maternità. As Narcissus, the visitor will see their figure reflected on water surface and projected on underwater worlds. The collection is realized with OUT system – Outdoor Unconventional Texture -technical covering for the outdoors with a highly decorative appeal.
