THE CREATOR
Santi Caleca takes photos since 1967. He begins with photo-reporting for dailies, periodicals and art galleries, both in Milan and in Palermo. In 1976, he is back to Milan and meets Isa Vercelloni, the editor of Casa Vogue: he begins to take photos of interiors, architecture, design and art. One crucial moment was his encounter with Ettore Sottsass in 1977. They start a friendship that will last for over thirty years. He collaborates with architectural firms, galleries, museums and in the creation of catalogs and press campaigns for the most important Italian and international design companies.
