Nobody Owns the Land: Earth, Forest, Mahk

Byoung Soo Cho’s installation explores the connection between man and earth through three elements. Earth is a suspended platform of red earth that constrasts with the Milan sky, inviting sensory meditation. Forest unfolds between columns with abstract paintings made by mixing earth and ink, creating a visual continuity reminiscent of a forest. Mark, the Korean approach to imperfection, is expressed in Mahksabal ceramics, shaped with spontaneous gesture that enhance natural imperfections. The work celebrates the simplicity of the earth, a source of life and harmony, inviting us to rediscover its authentic value.
